This luxury solitaire board game, formally known as the Duke of York board, has had an update. The beautiful marbles are still handmade by Teign Valley Glass, Devon glassmakers but new from 2022.

The wooden Oak and Walnut boards are thicker than the American Walnut previously used and they have a more natural finish. Each board has been handcrafted and lovingly prepared, piece by piece. Due to this change and the admiration for the handcraft skills that go into making each set.

An absolutely stunning luxury solitaire board game and a flagship product. This marble set has been handmade in Devon, England, UK representing the best of craftsmanship in both wood & glass. Also, each of the boards has some Limited Edition marbles on them, for the extra WOW factor collectors desire.

The board is set with 33 individual first quality Teign Valley Glass handmade collectors marbles. The luxury solitaire wooden boards are handmade in the UK and due to the natural finish of handcrafted wood, no two boards are ever the same.

Boards are made with English Oak or American walnut, both are FSC and PEFC.

Please do note that because each board is handcrafted. While we do our up-most to ensure you receive a stunning board. It is impossible to deliver a board which is completely free of imperfections because of the material they are made from. We consider the differences in grain & finish to be part of the charm!
